Hackmeeting 2007 Pisa – post06 – the food and bread hacking

Per completezza, concludo la serie con un post che ricorda il cibo di Hackmeeting nelle sue varie forme. Puo` sembrare, forse, a qualcuno su NoBlogs, un discorso frivolo, foodie, alla moda, ci sara` chi  "ma pensa te con i tempi che ci sono lei…" E allora, anche si. Si. La frivolezza tattica, sometimes pop has its reasons. Alle volte ha le MIE, di ragioni. Ma tornero` su questo in un qualche altro momento/post/whatever, che sara` molto piu` Dickiano.

Maybe someone on NoBlogs might accuse me of being too frivolous, foodie, fashion victim, whatever. Yeah, a big enormous WHATEVER to you too, pal. Tactical frivolity, it IS, and sometimes POP has its reasons. Sometimes it has MINE. But I`ll get to that in some other much more Dick-ian moment.]

BREAD HACKING

Gia` mi aspettavo bene del seminario sul hack the bread, un po` per la creativita` dell`idea, un po` perche` mi strippo di cucina, e cosi` via, ma la realta` ha superato le aspettative. C`era una interesante spiegazione/dibattito al inizio sulle varie questioni, dal consumerismo vs. DIY cibario, al copyright sui semini, questioni di salute, ecc. Poi c`era il discorso del kitchen soundtrack cioe` di scegliere la musica giusta per l`umore che si riflettera` sul cibo, l`aspetto sociale/socievole, e tutto cio` in un contesto nerd molto interessato e pronto, e cosi` via. [I had big expectations from the hack the bread seminar, and it managed to excede them. There were interesting debates on food consumerism vs. the DIY approach, warnings about the copyright on seeds and such, the cooking soundtrack, the togetherness aspect, and all that in a nerd context that responded readily and well.]

IL CIBO DEL HACKMEETING/THE FOOD

Buonissimo!  E parebbe che e` fatto con particolare cura e consapevolezza, dalla scelta degli ingredienti, dalla sorgente di essi, alla cottura e la scrittura del menu che spiega tutto cio`.

[Very good! And apparently it is also cooked with particular care and awareness, from the choice of ingredients, to the source of these, to the cooking and the writing of the menu as well, it explains the idea.]

THE YOGURT

Questa e` fuori del Hackmeeting e appartiene al mio turismo a Pisa ma e` importante. Siccome sono a dieta allora non potevo mangiare il famoso gelato come gli altri, ma per fortuna ADORO lo yogurt quindi me la sono cavata abbastanza bene, forse. Mah, vabbe`,lo yogurt va sempre bene. Non e` kawaiiiii? 😀

[This is not strictly a Hackmeeting food just something I ate while touristing around Pisa. I`m on a diet so I couldn`t have eaten the icecream with the others, fortunately I ADORE yogurt so I managed to find a decent alternative maybe. Oh well, yogurt is ALWAYS good. Isn`t it kawaiiiii?:D]
